About Dr. Siri Horsley
Dr. Siri Horsley is co-founder and co-owner of City Limits Vet Clinic. She grew up in Wyoming where her early interest in animals showed through her tendency to bring the creatures she had found home with her. Although her parents weren’t always as welcoming to the new house guests as she would have liked, her family had always been supportive of her dream to become a veterinarian at a young age.
That dream came true after Dr. Horsley received a degree in Organismal Biology at Montana State University followed by completing four rigorous years of vet school at Colorado State University. Through her education and experiences, Dr. Horsley knew she had found a home in general practice where every day would bring something new. A combination of sunshine, food, and music brought Dr. Horsley to Texas where she has been practicing since graduating from vet school. Before opening City Limits Vet Clinic, Dr. Horsley practiced at a busy, top-rated, small animal hospital in east Austin. She is thrilled to bring high quality general practice medicine to the north side of Austin to be able to service the pets and owners of north Austin, Round Rock, and Cedar Park. Dr. Horsley has two shih tzus and a doberman/great Pyrenees mix that keep her busy. She loves to take them paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake and hiking on the green belt trails. She also enjoys painting and drawing in her free time and is PADI SCUBA certified. Veterinary medicine is not just a career, it is a passion for Dr. Horsley. She keeps current with the advances in veterinary medicine and often attends more than double the number of continuing education hours required for veterinary licensees in Texas each year. Dr. Horsley understands that your pets are family and treats them as such. She has growing interests in dermatology and cardiology and will never say no to a puppy or kitten exam! |
